Hi Kodiegirl!

I find knock offs very distasteful. They are illegal, infringing on the copyright and trademarks of the designer and/ or brand :nono: Most designer replicas are produced by organized crime and illegal companies that indulge in child labor. Your are hurting the designer and disrespecting the time, effort and creativity they invested into this!

I feel very strongly about this!

If cost is an issue and you want something cheaper, might I suggest Saddleback bags? They are made in the US and have a lifetime warranty. 100% leather and great craftsmanship. Perfect for a young girl who trashes her bags. Have a look at the below two bags -

PreeKam, I have 3 Saddleback bags myself and am pretty sure they'll last forever!

Hi Everyone,

Been trying to find the Black/Flamma bucket bag as a surprise gift for my wife for a while now. Been a huge failure at it :nogood:. I don't really want to pay the inflated prices on ebay.

PSDept seems like a cool service, but unfortunately I don't have an iPhone. Is there anywhere else I can pre-order and possibly receive this before summer is over?

Thanks!

Try getting on a waiting list with net a porter. They will hold one for 24 hours and email you so you can purchase.

One thing to keep in mind when considering a canvas bucket bag, the leather trim will impact the shape of the bag. I purchased and returned a large navy bucket that was trimmed in calf leather. It was very smooshy and didn't hold it's shape well. It went back. I then purchased a mini bucket in the cream and cammello veg tan and it was perfect. I personally love the stiffness of the veg tan leather so I'm very clearly biased.

I also have a tumbled leather mini bucket which is very smooshy and does not stand up on it's own. If not overstuffed and hanging on the body, it creates a very nice draped smooshy look, but as someone else commented, sharp edges are sometimes visible from the outside. The quality is probably the same as the veg tan bags, but for some reason they feel less so.

Thank you for your feedback! This has really made me think more before purchasing.

Forgive the double posting at the Mod Shot thread...

Ready to rock with a Tokidoki Unicorno as embellishment.

You've inspired me to tied this knot and it looks amazing! So much better than the bow. Thanks! [emoji8]

Please show us how you do this! Looks amazing!!

I studied wendyology's pictures and kind of played around with it and was able to make the knot. But here is the instruction wendyology posted. HTH!

I started with the knot for a mens necktie, then experimented wrapping it around a couple of extra times to make it more dramatic.

The nice thing is that it slides open so I shouldn't have to retie it too often.

Hi guys, how do we get on a wait list for netaporter? Like who do we contact? I just don't know how to go about it! I'm looking for a mini rosa/rosa! If anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it so much!

I had an email from net a porter a few days ago out of the blue saying that a mini black/flamma bucket was reserved for me on the site. Not sure how that happened, but I do remember emailing them (although response was no preorders/waitlists) and adding the product to my wishlist, so maybe try doing that.

Unfortunately, I didn't end up buying the bucket since the price of the bag was in GBP (international checkout), which ended up costing over $150+ more than my local currency.

Thanks for the knot tying tip ladies! I like using this so much more now that I don't have to untie it every time I want to retrieve something.

All I'm missing is a bag charm now. I want one of the Michael kors furry pom poms or something similar but they're pretty hard to find

Thank you for your helpful and respectful post. I had lost sight of all the reasons not to buy a replica. Cost is an issue and these bags look great and indestructible!

Totally get destroying bags. I did that as a teen too (and even now to a lesser degree!). I couldn't even imagine having a designer bag that young.

Madewell, & Other Stories, COS and J.Crew have cute bucket bags that might be more her speed:
