Hi everyone!

I'm about to make my first purchase of Manolo Blahniks! I have chosen to go for the Sedaraby Jewelled satin d'orsay in raspberry. I am hoping that my sister will allow me to wear them to be her bridesmaid in July. I live in the UK and I cannot get these shoes here. They only seem to be available in the USA. I am going to order them from the USA, but need some sizing advice. I had read on Neiman Marcus' website that the line runs small so to order half a size up, then I read on here some people were saying that this particular shoe does not run small. I don't want to make a huge mistake and order the wrong size!! I wear a European size 40 in all other shoes. Does anyone have any recommendations? Please!

My Sedarabys are a 37.5 and I could have also taken a 37. I am normally a US 8. Sedaraby and D'orsay styles tend to run large--you will probably want to get a 39.5!

I also find them to run TTS or even a little large. I can take a 38, but could also make a 37.5 work. I think part of it depends on how wide your foot is. Wider feet won't go as far into the vamp, so if you have skinnier feet you can go a bit smaller. I have average to wide feet, so that's why it seems more TTS to me. At least that's my theory.

Laney, Sorry to add to your confusion. Meggy actually advised me on my sizing when I bought them and for me her advice was right on. I wear a true us 8 and ordered this raspberry one in 37.5 and the silver nappa in 37.5. If anything, I do have a bit extra room, but not enough to have bought the 37. Sorry to add to the confusion.

I have about 9 pair.....they do not run small. I am a US 9-9.5. I normally wear a 40-40.5 in Manolo. These I get all in a 40. I know not to even try a 40.5 cause they will be way to big.

^^totally agree. I am a 10 in US but a 41 in CL and Manolo. Sometimes in euro sizing 39 is a US 8 or a 9. Or 40 can be a US 9 or 10. I have the Sedarabys in a 40. They fit perfectly but the Campari is a 41 for me.

I have a relatively narrow foot and usually wear a US 9.5 narrow. Most of my Manolos are size 39. I have the raspberry color and love them! I was told to get a 39.5 in the Sedaraby, but they only had a 39. The 39 is actually too big, so a 39.5 would have been huge. I don't think I could have gone down to a 38.5 because they would have been too short. All that being said, I think they run a little big, but not enough to size down.

I have a pair of Manolo strappy sandals and a pair of open toed d'orsays and they were both true to size. I am a US 8 and got 38 in both of them. For reference, I wear 38 in Gucci, YSL, and Miu Miu. However, I have tried on Manolo closed toe pumps before and had to size up because they were too narrow.
