Manolo Blahnik - Sizing

I'm bummed to hear this. I avoid CLs because I think the sizing is unreliable. I loved that I was always a 37.5 in Manolos and and 38 in Choos. It made it easy to order online and know they would fit. I suppose it's OK if they're consistently a half-size off, but if some are the old fit and some are the new one, that's really going to be annoying.

great news for us size 42 folks though that have been squeezing in by a hair!

exactly!! manolos usually would never fit my size 42 feet! but this season I have tried on a few pairs, expecting them not to fit as per usual, but low and behold they do!! i'm excited i can finally wear them now!!! i'm actually surprised that they have seemingly resized their whole collection...but good news for me! :yahoo:

I have been eyeing the sale on Manolos at NM. But the description says that they run smaller than size and to order a half size up. Just how is the fit on them and is ordering up a half or whole size normal? Also, are they very narrow or could a semi-wide foot do ok in them? :shrugs:

It depends on the style. I have normal to wide feet and Manolos are true to size for me. I take a 37.5 in pumps and can take up to a 38 in sandals. My US size is 7.5. For some Manolos, especially from SS08 and FW08, I take a 7 and 7.5 would be too big. The d'orsay styles alse need to be sized down sometimes. That really isn't much help to you though, is it? I really think you just need to try them on.

That was actually why I was asking about the sizing as I have NO way of trying them on until after I get them. My only access to the world of Manolo is online since I live in a place where most people don't have a clue about shoes beyond Payless, lol. And I hate the hassle of returning things.

Are they true to size? If my Sedaraby size is 39, should I get the Carolyne in 39.5? Does the fit vary with the different heel heights?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
