The only other red bag I have is the large Sutton in claret, but it's more of a burgundy.

Chili seems like a bright, spicy red, which seems to appeal to people. Mandarin is an orangish-red. Red is a true red.
I think mandarin is more popular, but there isn't as much out in it at the moment. I see chili in stores everywhere because it's the more current color.
Yes, mandarin is definitely more popular. It's been out for years whereas chilli is a new release....[emoji3]
I just got a Sutton medium bag in Chili. It's a lovely red colour. I don't know about popularity though, the colours came out at different times. Chili is a new colour.

I just ordered medium messenger in chili! Hope I will like it this round. Have been trying to get colorful selma but ended up selling it away and back to my selma navy again haha..

Do you own anything in chili? I think it is a great red, but I don't know if I would say bright. I own an SLG in chili. Mandarin is definitely brighter. Chili is a better red than "red" was from last season. I like both mandarin and chili colors for different reasons. I will get something in chili when it goes on clearance, but had to have mandarin now as it is such a great pop for spring/summer
I don't own anything in chili, but I've seen it in store. Mandarin is definitely brighter, but it is more of a bright orangish-red. Some people don't like orange (like me). I tend to stick with jewel tones and prefer a true red or bright red without any orange tones in it. Chili is more of a bright red than "red", which appeals to me. I call it a spicy red because of the name.
