you will look great with your speedy 40 as it can be dressed up or down, all it depends is your confidence and if people make fun of you or stare at you, all you have to do is hold your head up high and just ignore them... i get these stares all the time and get called gay and stuff but i dont care, its good to be different and unique so i would say go for your speedy 40 you can rock it... oh look at the clubhouse "Men Carrying Speedys" and you will get an idea of how guys here rock their speedys!

I am 21 and also gay. I own the speedy B 40 which I am in love with. I really think it would be worth the extra 300 dollars for a speedy B. I do not like making contact with my vachetta because I am terrified of patina and the option to carry it on my shoulder really makes things a lot easier. It makes for hand free shopping and you aren't doing everything with one hand. I get a lot of compliments on my bag and I think it's a great investment. (Though its a good idea to have our bag organized, the 40 is a bottomless pit)

First of all: I think the speedy 40 is unisex. Go to the boutique and try it on! Itll look hot, so when you decide to get it make sure you do a reveal in here! (WITH mod-shots!):cool:;)

Is it wrong that I think that looks odd... Why do you have to carry a speedy? Why not a messenger in mono, the speedy b would prob look even worst but a baby keepall in Macassar would prob look hot on you... Yes?

But I wouldn't know till u post modeling pix with the bag cuz I agree some guys can pull it off... (With a speedy) But the key word is SOME! Not all :)

I dont think there is any problems with you or any guys wearing a speedy 40. Because of the size i think it suits a man than a woman. I know he speedy b is out of you price range but i will highly recommend you to save that little extra to have the strap and be able to wear it handheld, shoulder and crossbody. I can actually picture you wearing it in one of those ways. Good luck and please post pics once you got it.
