I posted about this when the thread started. One thing to keep in mind is that it took decades of customers being ripped off and even harmed by products before entities like the FTC, FDA and CPSC were created in the US to try to provide some protection. Now with the internet, many very sketchy companies overseas can trade directly to US consumers without being subject to regulations in any meaningful way. Even if you can make the case that they're violating US regs, good luck holding them accountable. It's the Wild West.

It should be relatively easy to get your money back if you use a credit card.

I am late to the conversation. I purchased a bag from them about a year ago. I liked it - it was a good bag. However, recently I noticed that one of the straps had pulled away and there is now a hole in the middle of the leather on one side. Additionally, the front pocket is ripped at the top corner, and will soon be unusable. The "finish" is coming off the top edges of the purse, and it looks unprofessional. I wrote to them, as I felt that, given the price of the bag, it should last me more than one year. Unfortunately, it no longer fell under their "warranty." They offered me a $25 coupon of another purchase - which is a drop in the bucket, given the expensive nature of the bags. I asked them to refund me the $25, period, and I would use it toward the repairs - I am hoping that I will find a shoe repair person who will be able to repair it. I will no longer be doing business with them. I cannot recommend their bags - nor can I recommend them as a company. I was misled. I pictured crafts people in England finding a unique way to earn a living, and now realize that they are getting rich of third world labor. I echo other sentiments on this site (and in fact, made an account to specifically let others know): steer clear of this company. They are not in it for the service to their customers.

I asked this company some product related questions. After a response, I still needed more information. Here is the transcribed communication on Facebook messenger:

Me:
I still need these questions answered?

➡️Do the bags come with certifications of authentic leather and country where they were made?

I’ve seen reviews that paperwork is in Chinese or Korean and is not translated to English. I’ve also seen reviews that bags are not stamped or labeled inside as being leather yet were advertised as such but arrive and are NOT leather. How do you assure the customer that the leather is genuine?

➡️ What shipping companies do you use? FedEx? USPS? Which ones?

Company:
we both use Fedex and USPS as our carriers

Me:
What about my questions regarding certification of authentic leather? Do you provide that (in English) with the bags?

Company:
no problem! I will get back to you as soon as we have an in-depth information regarding your clarifications, we would just need some time about this to verify and ensure we provide the right information, thank you

I have not received a response, and they have now blocked me on facebook to prevent me from following up. The question I asked were not unprofessional and were in response to negative reviews I did see online. I am merely doing my due diligence prior to making a purchase.

I would appreciate a response, before I turn to providing a review of my own. The bags are expensive and I just wanted to make sure that if I’m paying for leather, I’m getting leather. It is unlikely I will order anything, but their actions of blocking me instead of explaining their products, is an indication that others should be aware of their business practices as well.

I have screenshots of this entire conversation.

They are fake/faux.. questioned them about being REAL leather and she said we put a small piece of material so you
could burn it and see that it burns like real leather, not PU. Really?! ha, so then it prob becomes unreturnable. Sent
