Items are hard to find because each store has its own budget and only buys what they think will sell, so there isn’t enough budget for all stores to stock all shoe sizes. They rely on transfers and/or ordering for the client from the website. In Europe they don’t do transfers like other brands, as Chanel, where you can transfer from any country within the EU. It is limited to the particular country.
This isn't true. I have items transferred from within the EU all the time. Just had a bag transferred for DH last week.

To go back to relationships, on a couple recent topics:

On exotics, it's true that exotic purchases can really help you, but the Constance exists in its own weird category: there is no "quota" applied to it (even this can vary), but it's considered a premium and desirable bag. So buying an exotic Constance is not the same as buying, say, an exotic Verrou.

Hermès in Paris can absolutely see if you have an existing account globally. When I moved here, my account was 100% findable. I still have two accounts despite having a long and unusual name (this is an improvement as at one point I had five!) and one of them is under an old address in Los Angeles. I've seen them all and gone through my profile in the system while in the process of getting my history into just one account.

My SAs in the US cannot see what I buy in Europe, though.

I think all stores in Europe can transfer to France/Paris, but not the other way around. I know for sure that Spain, Italy, Holland and Portugal cannot get any items from other stores outside the country. I’ve seen Capri sending bags to Paris though.

The office at FSH can see all your accounts, but I do not know if the SAs can. When they pull my profile it just appears France.

My friend thinks buying an exotic Constance helped her in Europe in the beginning, but it was during COVID, so who knows. She buys around 12 QBs a year in stores around the globe (no Constances), plus multiple KPs and KCs.

So, I went to Paris this January. I am not sure why the individual SA in FSH was not able to see my US account. I had to create a new account in Paris then. (But, I do hope that the corporate - not individual SA - in FSH could see my both US and French accounts....?)

Do you know if the US corporate can also track my French account? (I don't think the individual SA in the US can see my history in FSH either...)

Thanks!

FTR, we purchased in St. Barts, which is part of the French system. They saw our Paris profile but couldn’t see anything US.

Your information is incorrect. I have had items transferred for me from Italy, Belgium, France, Monaco, Germany to name a few. (If an SA is willing to do it for you and/or claims they can’t, well that’s a different story……………… and therefore actually on topic of this thread.)

I have read from this forum that if we purchased quota bag and other items same day, the order of how our SA rang it on the receipt matters for spending preset. But I see that my SA always ring the quota bag last, and I asked her, she said not a big deal. Any thoughts?

It’s not a big deal. There are no prespend triggers. It is your relative competitiveness with other shoppers at your store. The most effective way to tell where you’re at is if the bag was offered before or after you agreed to buy the other items. If before, then I’d consider the other items as working toward your next bag. If after, I would consider the bag offer as having been conditional on those purchases and would count it as the purchased bag’s prespend.

Not a big deal in my experience. That being said I remember reading that, the difference is I know the poster shops in a very different region (at the risk of sounding like a stalker 😅 I want to say it is Singapore?) than me which may be why it could be a thing in their case but not mine in terms of how their SA/store works.

I would trust what your SA says for your case.

If my SA wants me to stop by the store, does that usually mean a QB will be offered?
It means something she thinks you will like/have been asking for will be offered. Caution that I’ve read several stories where people get all hyped up and it ends up being a rodeo… Hope for the best, prepare for the most mundane.

I think it depends on your particular relationship. For example, if something I've ordered has come in my SA whatsapps me and says "[that specified thing you ordered] has come in". If it's a bag that I've expressed interest in or is on my wishlist she says "I've prepared a surprise for you, when can you come in?" Recently she gauged my interest in a very special bag I had not previously inquired about or expressed interest in but would TOTALLY take in a heartbeat if offered and then said "let me work on that one" to which I said "don't you go getting my hopes up!"

It was a lot more vague than that. More like "I want to see you" before your big trip.
