I won’t have my SA actually order anything unless I’m reasonably sure I want it.
Im pretty specific, at the original time of request, ie, yes, I’d like to try it on, but am not sure
versus I have to have it, pls do a search. So either way, my SA knows my level of interest
But, if it’s ordered, and I try it, and it doesn’t work, I don’t feel any pressure to purchase.

That's how I was too - I didn't say anything along the lines of, "Please order this for me so I can purchase it." It was more like... "I don't know how size small would look on my wrist" and he ordered it for me. I also never followed up on it after the initial visit so he probably knows I'm not that committed to it, whereas there's a list of items that I've followed up on.

I'm seeing my SA for our store's Valentine's Day event so will sort it out then!

This makes sense. It’s nice that he brought it in for you to try but if it doesn’t work out, he should understand if it’s not a regular occurrence.

Hi lovely ladies i need your advice i want to ask if the two different profiles make any difference regarding bag offers? I’m using my husband profile in NYC store but now want to make my separate profile with same SA because hubby is not interested in the brand. I got my first Kelly in October last year under my hubby’s profile so my question is if I make my separate profile then i will have to start from beginning even though I have prior history with same SA but under husband’s name or with building a new profile with same SA would be ok ?Or I shouldn’t go with new profile route altogether? Is it better shop with a profile with longer shopping history? ((my husband created his profile in the end of 2019 also we are not big spender just bought what I wanted but still managed to get a Kelly ))
Will my husband ’s profile (shopping history) carry over to my profile or it will influence my chances of quota bag offer?I’m not sure if my husband’s profile will be seen when going for my profile (same last name). I don’t want to start from scratch :confused1::confused1:Need your opinion..

Is your end goal just to have one profile in the US or do you already have a profile under your name in a different store?

Why not just keep using his profile, regardless if he purchases stuff for him or not? Unless there is something else going on as to why you can't use his or want to stop :confused1::confused1::-s:-s
Since your SA obviously knows you both and that you're married---if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I agree with what @FrenchNewbie said.
Personally with the new influx of clients clamouring to get a quota bag I think a profile with longer history would carry more weight.
However I dont know if the name on the cc needs to match the name on the profile when it comes to paying?
I know the last name would match but Mr instead of Mrs.
Perhaps someone could enlighten us as to if that may be an issue.
But If you are same last name same address I dont see why you can't use his profile

No, the name on the CC does not have to match; as long as that person is there to pay or you give authorization to use it (and as long as you don't request the shipping address change without the account holder authorizing it), they don't care where the money comes from, lol. I can personally attest to it.

Some stores are very fastidious about only letting the profile named client pay. I once was shopping with my DH and made a small pile of items with his direct involvement when toward the end my toddler had a tantrum. DH took our toddler out of the store to calm him down elsewhere and then I went to pay but my SA would not allow me to pay, neither with my card nor my husband’s card even though he was clearly aware and ok with the purchase. I had to leave the store, tend to my child while sending DH back to checkout without me. Really depends on the store and SA and how strictly they follow the guidelines.

In the US, the credit card companies’ rule is that the paying customer‘s name must match the name on the credit card. I’ve had to show ID in some stores when paying with a credit card. Many stores often choose to disregard this rule but they are in violation of the credit card company TOS when doing so and if there is any question later on, the credit card company can legally not honor the charge, leaving the store without either the merchandise or the payment.

He has to be with me if I have to buy anything so he doesn’t have time to go with me every time . Last time when he had offered me Kelly hubby could not go in the store in person and he were not allowed to show me the bag So my husband had to visit the store. That’s why I want to make separate profile.

My SA stricly follow this rule he told me that he can get fired from his job and the card has to match the profile.
