Update: I text my SA this morning with a long list of colors that I researched and liked. I prefaced the list stating that I understood colors were seasonal, but I hope it gave him a good idea of my preferences.

He responded saying the list was perfect and to stay tuned. I know there is pretty low inventory and I haven’t spent a 1:1 ratio yet (approximately at .5:1 right now) so I don’t anticipate getting offered an actual bag any time soon. Just thought I’d share this development for those following along.

Hi I’m relatively new to h and trying to build my purchase history. I know sales associates don’t get commission on b and k, but do they get commission on other bags and slgs in the us? On Evelyn, smalls leathers goods, mini Lindy, belts, leather, Constance, ect. Thank you
Interested to know as well. I am working towards building a new relationship so knowing these things is helpful

i am asking bc I am going to Orlando for vacation... i just want to browse in person and afraid I would see something i like at that store. Should I just let my regular SA know that?

Go to Orlando. Browse. Take notes. If there’s anything you really want, go back to your original SA to order.

I do this when traveling around the world. I’ll see something, take a photo or take note, and I email/text her immediately.

If you see something you really want, I think you should buy it when you can.
You don't have any obligation to inform your SA of your travel/browsing/shopping plans.
By all means contact your SA and see if he or she can get what you want for you in your regular store.
If you are in your store, there would be nothing lost by running the idea of seeing if you SA would be prepared to do that for you past your SA.
Any decent SA will understand that the full range of Hermes products is not available everywhere.
In a strange way, by buying something you like when you see it elsewhere, shows more enthusiasm for the brand than sticking slavishly to one store. That is what Hermes wants to see if you aspire to goods that are not easy to come by.

Ever since I started my H Journey which was last February, i have spent about $24k already. This includes 1 picotin and 1 2424, shoes, fashion jewelry, RTW, home goods.

During this whole year, my SA has never offer my any bags. No birkin, no constance, nor kelly. I knew birkin 25 was hard to get and I was patient. When it was exactly 1 year, I asked my SA about my wishlist and he just kept saying he is trying but he just doesn’t have any bags.

When I see something in store I like but not my size, my sa will not try to look if he can transfer or order it for me online. For instance, i saw a sweater that I like, but it was a size 36. I tried it on and could tell it was too big. However Sa persuaded me saying it fits just right. I almost bought it but then decided to ask if by any chance he can order a size 34. He then went to the back room and got me a size34.

On another occasion, i tried on a tshirt in size 34 but it was quite tight. For some reason that shirt runs really small. Yet he again said it fits perfect. I got it and tried again when I got home, it is still too small. I texted my SA again and he said they have a bigger size available in the other store and i can exchange it there. So I went to the other store and I met a very nice lady. She knew I was only doing an even exchange but she was so helpful. After trying on size 36, she also said it’s still too small and would really recommend size 40 for a looser fit and that it will look a lot nicer. Or exchange it to something else. I really like her honesty instead of just pushing me to buy if it doesn’t fit or look good on me.

During that trip, i bought 2 small items from her. She then asked if I was local and if I had gotten any bags yet . And I said no. She then look up my record and said with my purchase history, i should have at least gotten a bag already. At that moment, i knew it was time to switch Sa. I then made another appt with her to do a little more shopping. Again, extremely great service and not pushy. On my second time with her, she then asked if I wanted a mini constance in etoupe with gold hardware and she can offer it to me. I had to decline since it wasn’t the leather that I wanted, but it made me really happy that she was at least trying to get me something. And if something i want is not in store, she will look at other stores and do a store transfer or ship it to my house.

So ladies, if you have been spending and just spending with no bag offers yet. Do not be afraid to change SA. Why continue to spend more in hopes of getting a bag? I get it that some bags are just harder to get but when it’s been 1 year, I think it’s time to move on. For instance, if you are in a relationship that you are not happy with, it’s best to end it right away and move on . Find a SA that you really click with, buy only what you love and the right SA will appreciate and find you your dream bag.

hi! i'm new to hermes and went into the Boston store to buy a home item and was assigned an SA. since then i've texted back and forth a bit with my SA about some pairs of shoes I'm interested in. my SA is not great at responding and I'll often have to ping him again to follow up on requests because he will not answer the first time. there have also been a couple times where he said he would follow up with me but forgot. I'm sure SA's are busy right now but I'm just wondering if this is normal? should I stick with this SA or try to change? I want to build a good relationship with my SA and am just worried that this SA is forgetting about me?
other question: I totally understand that I need a purchase history to be considered for a B or K but I'm wondering is is "gauche" to mention it/bring up my wishlist? Or should I just go to Hermes and develop a purchase history and hope I am asked by my SA what my wishlist is? Either way I intend on building a purchase history - I'm really just wondering if I should wait for my SA to bring up quota bags.
