She is def worth it!!! Such a classic style... I believe it's Coach's rendition of an Hermes Kelly/Birkin inspired bag. Hell, Coach's shopping bag from the boutiques are even orange. Hermes much? Don't get me wrong, I love love love my Sadie
I'm excited to join with the full size haircalf brown multi Sadie. Really thought I would prefer the mini size, but after comparing the size of the mini saffiano Sadies to the full size haircalf Sadie, the mini was just too small for what I carry. Here she is...being modeled by my 2 year old

Those are two completely different silhouettes, the Sadie is comparable to Kelly. Having said that Kelly has a much simpler profile.

Congrats! I was the complete opposite...I fell in love with the regular Sadie online, but when I saw it IRL it was not love
Then when the small/mini size came out, it was perfect! Still waiting for my mini mixed haircalf Sadie to come...

THANKS!! I'm excited to see yours. I tried the small sized leather sadie in the store and put my stuff in it and then I tried this one and I couldn't walk away from it. I absolutely loved it. I'm definitely going to carry it a lot.

The Sadie is much closer to the Rebecca Minkoff Covet, down to the front flap and turnlock hardware.
And Minkoff is derivative of the original 1960s satchels, which many different designers influenced. And they were probably influenced by mail bags from eariler periods.
My grandmother had several satchels very similar to the Covet and Sadie - it's been a while since I saw them, but I believe the brands she had in the Sixties and Seventies were Koret and Etienne Aigner.
I've got the Red Pebbled Small Sadie right now, and the Quartz Saffiano Small Sadie on order. I'll post pics of the Red if I can get some decent lighting. It's gloomy here today.
