i just recently started carrying my new madison magazine tote in lavender and i was just wondering how can you tell if sealant is coming off of the bag?

Have you looked at the handles, where the sealant is? If it's peeling, then yes, it's coming off...you would know if it is, it's fairly easy to see. I have not experienced this with my Madison bags.

its not on the handles its on like the middle of the bag, its like glue-ish stuff if that makes sense?

Yes you need to post... Normally sealant issues are in the handles or any area of the bag where the ends met like piping or leather trim...

The "sealant" to which we usually refer on this site is brown/black, not clear or over the entire bag.

Sounds like the glaze on the leather is what you're referring to.
