Mademoiselle lock question

Ladies, I have a question about the mademoiselle lock. Yesterday I saw a black double flap patent bag with a mademoiselle lock that is really shiny compare to all the other reissue next to it. All the other reissues on the shelf does not have that shine but the usual "vintage" mademoiselle lock look. So does it mean that the black patent I saw is a classic instead of a reissue?

No, it's still a reissue. There are different finishes for the locks.

The Fall Act 1 patent reissues had shiny silver HW. The Fall Act II cracked patents have the usual Ruthenium (aged silver) HW.

No, it's still a reissue. There are different finishes for the locks.

That's good to know that there are different finishes for the locks, I really like it shiny.
