Unbelievable!! When Macy's bought Marshall Field's so many customers in Chicago said they would not shop at Macy's. Apparently Macy's didn't believe it, and they can't understand why their sales are below expectations in Chicago. Hey, people told you they weren't going to shop there to receive sucky service. We liked to complain how Field's had changed from the old-style store it used to be, but we still loved it. Macy's is such a step down, and I don't mean in costly merchandise, I mean in the way they run their stores and respond to problems.
I'm glad you didn't have to pay for shipping for an item they didn't have to begin with. That's a no-brainer, you'd think.
