My friend has been to the sale they have before they destroy everything. She bought a few pairs of shoes for herself and her husband, bathing suits & some clothes. She said there werent many bags there and she got up to 70 percent off. I assume the SA's snatch up all the good stuff before the sale for the price I would too.

Whoa is this true? I thought there were NO sales except for employees (and even they had a bag limit)? If true, who gets to go? :wtf::confused1:

Will if they did test the pastille bracelet on a mannequin. It wasn't a good job. I had 2 charms fall off mine. :shrugs:

I think this is because they don't actually solder the links that hold the charms closed! I noticed this on the pastille bag charm and thought thats ridiculous for the price! I would bring the piece into a jeweler and have them completely close the rings for you so you don't lose more! Any quality piece of jewelry should have this, tisk tisk

Btw I'm pretty sure that this goes for any of the bag charms. Strange that they would shake the thing to see if they fall off instead of just solder the links so that they couldn't? :confused1:

:bump:

the original canvas, used by Louis Vuitton, a plain grey one, then the Trianon print was created to prevent counterfeiting, then in the mid 1860's the Damier Ebene print was created to prevent counterfeiting AGAIN!!! it originally said L.Vuitton despose 1856, and finally in the late 1800's Georges Vuitton created the monogram print to prevent counterfeiting AGAIN!!! well obviously LV is always losing the battle against fakes throughout its long and glorious history...

Also LV was associated with the Nazi's during WW2 producing something, dolls or what not... taken from some book mentioned in Wiki... lol

love this thread, its just so interesting!! hope you guys can add some more facts to it!!
