I added this thicker vachetta LV strap to my Pochette Metis and I love it - it really changes the look of the bag. I bought it originally to use on my Graceful (since it has those big rings that the other straps won't clip on to/can get stuck - ask me how I know), but have used it more frequently with my PM!

I have a de SB 35 and the mono noir bando strap (not XL), and the mono reverse bando XL strap

Yes I can definitely cross body with both of them.
The regular one sits a little high on me but is still do-able (I'm 5'4")
With the XL adjusted on the second from the longest holes, it measures about 8 inches longer than the regular bando strap.
Thanks! Do you find these straps are more comfortable and soft than the original DE straps? I’ve had mine for a couple years and the original straps are still very stiff and dig in to my shoulder
I’m surprised how much I’ve used my strap! Works great with several bags, and so comfortable and soft on your shoulder!
Definitely these straps are more comfortable and softer, more pliable.
I hate the original Speedy B strap and hate that the crossbody version is 3 pieces. I felt like my long hair would catch in the metal hardware at times too. The strap definitely digs into the shoulder when the bag is moderately full. I think if it was a tad wider, that would help. Or maybe if it came with the add on separate shoulder pad. So I was able to buy the Keepall B strap as a repair piece and I use that strap with my de SB. Even though it is only a little wider, I feel it makes a difference.
I haven't tried to use either of the Bando straps with the de SB to mix the canvases but have seen others here on tPF do it and it seems to work. I've used my mono Bando strap with MWT SB, Melie, and Estrela so far. And the reverse strap w MWT and I'm debating adding a reverse PM...
Love they way you use them! Can you tell me the length from end to end including hardware for the XL? I’m not sure if the measurements online include the hardware. Thanks !

The XL is 46" total including the hooks with mine set on one of the middle holes on each end (there are 4 adjustment holes total on each end).
I guesstimate it can be adjusted out to about 1.5" longer at most, and up to 3" shorter depending where you set the holes. It's not that easy to adjust either.
Hi girls. I need help. Some weeks ago I went to our local LV store because I am thinking of buying the mono strap with rose ballerine for my vintage noe bag. Before I went to the store I watched some videos on YouTube and googled photos of it, mainly on fashionphile. On all photos showing authentic straps the glazing of the strap was brown. I found some pages from China which sell fake straps and there the glazing is white. Now I went to the store and the SA told me they did not have the rose strap in store and Recommended to order online. She showed me the strap and this was with brown glazing and I liked it. Back home I wanted to place my online order but on the German LV website the strap seems to have white glazing (there is only one photo) . So I called my SA and she was confused and said the rose ones they had in store always had brown glazing, other colors, e.g red and blue, came with white. So can you help me? Are there two different straps or is one of it an older version? Anyone that owns the rose mono one and can show me photo? Thanks
I have the Mono/red strap, and it has white glazing. They are great straps! Sooo comfortable! [emoji173]️ Hope you are able to get the one you want!
