Love this thread!! Has anyone used one of these on a Pochette Metis? I tried one on at the store yesterday and LOVED the look - I think I'm going to go back for the pink/mono strap... would love to see mod shots if anyone has done this!

Love it! I wear my bandoulière (mono/black) with my reverse Pochette Métis all the time! I like it when it sits high cross-body or just on the shoulder.

B) i was just looking at the manhattan on the lv website and then came across yours. Another beautiful bag!! My mum is thinking of this one, what is your opinion? Do the flaps at the top get in the way of the opening?

The Manhattan is a heavy bag. But I love the details of it; the buckles, pockets
No..the flaps do not get in the way of the opening. It is quite easy to put things in and out.

But I had to exchange it as the flab had a tear@crack. I have not used it yet. I wanted to exchange for another Manhattan but i but decided to opt for another bag.

For me, I have a problem mixing metals. I don't know why as I sometimes mix the my gold colors in my jewerly. Nothing that adventurous, RG & WG,
I have several bags and straps I bought that don't have matching hardware and I haven't used the straps at all. Again, that's me. Others please chime in and talk me into mixing my hardware, lol

Honestly, for me it totally depends upon my mood. Some days I will mix hardware and it doesn't bother me at all, other days it will drive me insane. I will say that I think sometimes I obsess too much about things I don't think most people would even notice. I guess those are the days I don't care.

I think I will just start wearing it with the gold hardware and if I end up obsessing about it I have a good excuse to look for another bag.
