My first LV purchase was from eBay. Alma PM from 1997. There are some water marks on the vachetta that I can live with, but the interior was pristine! Love it!
Went to the LV store today (after it was authenticated through proauthenticators and the thread here) and ordered the lock and key set with clochette. Can't wait until it comes in. Now I'd just like to find the 16mm strap.

I just pulled the trigger on a speedy b 25 from eBay. Supposedly brand new and comes with box, dust bag, receipt, lock and key. I'm leery bc the price was way under anything I've seen, but I got it authenticated through Luxury Authenticators and they said it was legit. It's a US seller with no feedback. I'm holding my breath to see what actually arrives. Crazy move? Has anyone gone through eBay or PayPal refunds for a fake bag?
Not sure if this post is still active, or maybe a new one has been posted. I just started looking into ebay preloved lv purchases and there are so many choices!! I find the vintage bags have much better quality and i am in search of a number of discontinued pieces...but i have a lot of questions as this is new to me. First of all, i don't even understand fully the ebay bidding history. How come someone who seems to have placed a bid 5 days ago won the item. if they placed a higher bid 5 days ago, would that appear as the highest bid on the listing? and ppl need to submit a higher bid? so confused...

Now that eBay will authenticate purchases for $40 I am much less concerned about buying from them. So glad they started giving that option as I have recently bought three LV bags and two wallets in pristine condition.
