LV prices in the past

Hello :smile1::smile1:

I don't know if the same thread already exists but I though it would be interesting to make (kind of) a list of old/new prices of LV pieces.
Or just mention some of the old prices and price you have to pay for the item right now.

Example:

When my aunt bought the Pochette Accessoires back in August 2012, she had to pay 285€
I saw the Pochette last year for 325€ (but only for a short time) and decided to get one a few months ago.
I had to pay 340€

I remember that the key etui for 4 keys used to cost 110€ not that long ago.
When I bought mine, I paid 140€

I bought mine in 2007 for 185 euros.

I remember back in 2001 when I was shopping for my first LV.
The monogram Speedy 25 was $380! Now it is $950.

But a small consultation is that at least LV is not a aggressive with price increase as Chanel. When I first look at a Chanel bag I though it was just to expensive at $1600. Now it is over $5000😫 Unreal!!!

One thing about eLuxury, it did not charge sales tax. It was wonderful. Also, the website was fabulous, far better than LV's, so easy to scroll and purchase. I remember when eLuxury closed and the proper LouisVuitton.com opened, I wrote an email to Louis Vuitton asking them why they had not used the eLuxury website. I got a corporate answer in return. LV's website is better now, but still not designed for easy navigation and selection.

Wow! I would love to buy a Speedy for that price today. Who knew the prices would sky rocket so fast. I was buying Coach and Dooney in 2001 for around the same price. I wish I was into LV back then, but I was only into leather bags, so I missed out. :laugh:
