Hey Girls, Need Your help. I ordered a PM Reverse. I can‘t stop thinking of all the issues i‘ve read about. Does anybody of you own a PM or PM reverse? Any experiences? It‘s my dreambag But i am scared i will get issues with glazing etc. I wanna keep it but i cant enjoy it atm because of my fears. But there is no bag I would love more than the pm reverse [emoji85]

I don't own it but there's a lot of threads in here dedicated to the Metis faults. Perhaps check them out at see what they say? I have heard that they have improved the quality so it shouldn't happen, and if it does LV should be pretty good at repairing at no cost. It's a beautiful bag, enjoy it

Some the ladies here have bought the PM and I believe a couple have returned them to get better ones.

There are loads of youtube videos outlining the various issues. If you love the bag then you should keep and enjoy it.

I wrote about this multiple times but just cant seem to find at the moment where exactly....
I got a mono Metis from the Store last December - that one was fab No issues so far!
I bought a reverse Metis this February online and looking back it was a disaster (little black glazing spots on the front flap, glazing uneven and sharp on the edges everywhere (like you could get caught with a cashmere sweater in it!) and you know what?! I kept it
SO desperate to own this bag!!! Holy Grail! I was so lucky to order it one day and the waitlist seemed endless...
Now I was on the waitlist for months and when my reverse came to the store my SA exchanged the faulty one on the spot! The one from the store: perfect through and through!
A months ago we bought a mono Metis online for my mum- she is a beauty and has no flaws!

sorry to say this but it is a hit or miss....

With wear over time: well the hardware gets scratches, it softens up a little but nothing else at the moment. It is said that they alternated the way it is glazed now and the canvas is stiffer than before and I personally havent read anything about issues with the newer model. We have to wait!

I have just received the second bag... I made a comparison: the bacchetta handle is perfect BUT I found two things (see the pictures):
- differente closures (may I ask you how is yours, like 1 or 2?)
- in the second one the black glazing it’s not uniform
Regarding this last aspect, should I consider it an issue and be afraid that in the future it could crack?

My pochette metis has the number 2 clasp. I think it’s the newer clasp which doesn’t scratch the metal as much as the older smaller one. But I’m not 100% sure.
As far as the glazing is concerned. I’ve got a few bags where the glazing looks like that but never had any issue.

Hey everyone. I am thinking about getting the LV bumbag, but i wanted to know if anyone of you have it, and if you like it? I am mostly concerned about the zipper and potential wear and tear from that - like the old palm spring mini. Thanks

I have clasp no 2 and the glazing is completely normal! My Metis mono has these „lines“ as well on one side!

At the end I decided to keep the second one Made in Italy, instead the first one Made in France.
Glazing apart (not perfectly regular), the bag it’s very well done.
The first one, I saw today that it had also canvas pealing in the corners... it’s a pity, I would have loved to keep the made in France one!
