The Pochette Metis is online so much nowadays that I would at least try to get another one.
Personally would return / exchange it, since it would really bother me that I don't have a perfect bag. You should be able to get one fairly easily though :smile:

For sure it bothers me a lot. Only I am afraid that I won’t be as lucky again to find it. After years I was able to buy it, ‘cause a lady informed me that, due to the fact that shops have been closed, Vuitton had been selling only on line and this was the reason why to find a Métis suddenly become easier. Therefore I checked the website for almost four weeks. I got the chance twice. The first time I couldn’t complete the order because the paged crashed. The day after at 12:30 pm by pure miracle I got my second chance.
So now I’m asking my self if:
- to keep it, go to the boutique and ask for a repair;
- to wait, see if within 30 days I can find another one, buy it and decide which one to take. In fact to me another topic was also not receiving one with the most common and sadly frequent quality issues.

You don‘t really want to give a new bag into repair do you?! Repair times can takes ages, especially now. I gave my 6 months old Neo Noe into stitching repair and was informed that it can take rather more then 10 weeks :shocked: gasp...

try it ! The stalking EU thread is so great for finding htf items!!!

:crybaby:Oh yes...but I had practically no choice. I could have given it to a leather worker and lose the warranty of the bag.... no way!

So I never thought I‘ll have a Pochette Metis last year... now I have both Canvas versions and I also ordered one for my mum a couple weeks ago.:yahoo: They are definitely out there! Inform the Eu stalking thread ladies (which are all here as well I think:giggle:) and we post when we see it available!! it could only take days :happydance:

I would return it. It's been seen a lot on the stalking EU thread so you'll definitely get another one. Unfortunately its usually between 3am-4am (GMT), at least when I've mostly seen it. Also LV have extended their return policy. Items can be returned up to 30 days after stores open.

That poor finish would bother me too. Have you tried calling client services to see if they can organise an exchange? The ladies on the stalking thread will most definitely help you out should you decide to order a new one and return that one.

Hallo, I can answer this for you. Yes it is normal. Only the left buttons moves, the right one is fixed. With one move, the clasp should be smoothly open.

No. Or better, I tried to reach them during my break but without success.
For sure it would be great returning this one and ordering a new one, being sure to receive it without waiting again years! I’m instead afraid to return it without being certain to find quickly another one.

Please don't accept faulty work because you've had a long wait finding this bag. I think many people do this which allows LV to continually get away with producing shoddy work and bad quality items. LV know this faulty work will be accepted due to scarcity of the bag all of which they do on purpose. The PM has had notoriously bad press for its issues with glazing, cracking and snap closure not sitting straight, all of which LV are aware of. I was only on this forum for 9 days before I finally scored a Multi Pochette Accessoires an extremely hard to find item. Prior to being here I'd been trying to get it for months online and in store with no luck. Check out the other thread, look at the stalking advice and times, and you'll definitely get another one. You can return the one you have and hopefully get one you're truly happy with. You shouldn't settle for less than that!
