the SAs in Collins St are a nice bunch. you don't have to worry about anything. asking for the price of an item is normal so don't hesitate to ask. but if you're really conscious, look for the dustbag inside the bag. taped to it is a piece of photocopied paper with the barcode, name and price of the bag ;)

Thanks LVgirl_68! I had thought that the Speedy 30 in Monogram Canvas was AUD $875 =)

PinkCupcake, you said in your post that the Speedy 30 would be AUD$762 including GST. But can I just clarify, we if we import it, we don't have to add GST cos it's value is less than $1000? I hope so because eluxury currently has free shipping to US addresses! =) I was thinking of getting the Speedy from eluxury via someone who lives in the US.

Yeah, it is heartbreaking losing a little friend. The new one will help the healing, they always do. You could spend a fortune buying handbags to cheer yourself up but it wouldn't work the way a new kitten will. Kittens rock!! :heart:

Yes, that's right. As long as the price you pay for the item is less than AU$1K, it will come into the country and be delivered to you without any import duty or GST. (Keep any receipts/records be on the safe side.) So, if you pay USD$620 for the Speedy 30, that will convert to around AU$693, you have free shipping within the US, and your only extra cost is postage from the US to Australia.

Pretty good deal, isn't it ... $700-odd plus postage for a brand new Speedy that retails for $855 here. Save over $100!

(BUT WAIT!!! THERE'S MORE!!! Buy now and we'll GIVE you a FREE set of steak knives!!! ) :nuts:

Hi My alma has jst disintergrated after 10 years of hard wear, thinking of gettin a Lockitt horizontal in mon anyone got one?? is it too big for everyday bag? I have given up on ebay all to hard living in aus and then getting them posted, and also what about duty ?? anyone know? also there seems more fakes than real, and the real ones are often so worn i havent got time to keep looking, would like a neo cabby in black but dont think it will be as hard wearing for everyday, any thoughts? I have nt been to see one yet it says canvas denim, but thats not like the monogram canvas material is it??
