Hi there. Hoping I might be able to get some advice. I've placed my first LV Online order a week ago and it hasn't shipped yet. A couple emails and 1 call to Client Services later and still no update other than "there may be delays with your order up to 14 days as per the website". I understand that some freight companies are delayed due to COVID19 but the bag I ordered is available in Gold Coast, Sydnry and Melbourne stores... so why the delay in dispatching? I've bought a wallet in store previously but not sure if I used the same email address so to LV, it may seem its my first purchase. I bought an empreinte leather bag so it's not entry level and it's not something super popular as PM... Any ideas on why its so delayed? Are they screening me and potentially won't sell it?

Store inventory is different to online inventory, even though stores might have something available, does not mean store can ship it to you. You will have to go in person to buy it.

On the website, if the item is on back order, there will be a note that it takes additional 14 days. This means they are sourcing the item for you.

i think the bag you ordered is being sourced. If it helps recommend checking with customer service again.

As Crazy Cool said, store and online inventory are different. I would give them a couple of days and then call CS again. You'll definitely get your item, it will just be slower than usual. Good luck and I look forward to seeing a picture once it arrives!

This happened to me last month when I bought the mini pochette accessories. They called me to say there’d be a delay and couldn’t say how long. I got an email a few weeks later saying it had arrived in store (I had the address as my store’s address). It will be fine. :)
 
Sigh. Today, I see that my card has no pending transactions so it seems LV cannot fulfill my order. No notification or anything, and the order is still "submitted" on the LV site. Seems odd. Oh well guess I have to make the trip to a store :/

See if you can give them a call tomorrow and ask them what is happening. You never know, you might get lucky and get someone helpful who will try to place/fulfill your order. Good luck!

Do not worry, your card is authorised for the payment and will be debited once item is shipped.

Not necessarily your order is unfulfilled. That’s only because they pre-authorise when you place the order, and take the money when the order is allocated with stock and is “in praperation”. If waiting the stock for more than bank clearance time, the pending transaction will disappear... but when they have stock they will charge the money again.
