SPIRITEDAWAY. My Damier Speedy 35 I purchased 21/01/09 was $1060 plus $25 courier costs. Well worth it. I love it to bits & wish I hadn't waited so long to get it.I bought it just after the last price increase. I was kicking myself because when I rang the week or so before it was $990 so I had to pay $70 extra for it but still worth every cent. Adelaide is a great city but we just need a Louis Vuitton store & it would be perfect.

wow, a speedy 30 is in the triple digits now :tdown: I really want the zippy wallet but definately cant justify spending almost a grand on a wallet..guess my $50 wallet will have to last me till Im earning the big bucks LOL

I checked my invoice and the purchase date of my Damier Speedy 35 was 13 January 09. I made it just before the increase, but I haven't been so fortunate w/other LV purchases.

Thanks :) I love them all - I might have to go in for a sneaky look - it's so funny I work really close to the store but I never have any time to go in while at work. It's such an effort too because it's not 'off-the-shelf' stuff that you can just go in anytime for a quick browse or multiple OCD visits lol.

I agree with Adelaide needing an LV store :tup:

Are all bandeaus $210? Do they usually have them on display or do we have to ask for it? I'm interested in getting the papillon bandeau on to attach to my epi Passy GM. Is that still readily available?

Oh i just got back from Singapore, and just comparing the price of the Rodeo Drive, i bought it for AUD$1620 just before i left (exclusive of the 10% GST i got back) and in SG it's SG$1700, the dollar is almost dollar for dollar. LV is so expensive in SG!

I agree - LV is just too expensive here :sad: that's why we always get people to buy it if they're going overseas. The Mahina XL is about 5200SGD! which is quite a mad price to pay for compared to the prices in Europe especially the UK what with the lowered quid :p

so does no one really know the XL price in Australia?
