I think you made the right decision! In your uploaded picture it looks a bit big but I think that's because you were wearing it rather high; if you moved it down a little it'll look perfect.

I am waiting for my bag to get to me and I'm glad I waited for this rerelease instead of buying the OG for $4K. I mean that's insane, I can get this one + mini bumbag for the price of OG right now....

Ok. Back to returning it. Ugh. So undecided. My daughter just said it’s really busy with the guitar strap saying Louis Vuitton and the canvas logo and the smiley zipper.

So I picked up the bag today and I like it except that I am concerned about cracking, there are a couple of spots where the bag tends to fold over on the sides, and am wondering how it is going to hold up. Thoughts anyone?

I think if you experience cracking, LV will take care of it so if you love it, enjoy it.

They were awesome with my OG bum bags. Literally apologized and took them back. But made it very clear that the cracking couldn’t be fixed.

I think you might be right, but I also feel like even though it’s less than 3000 it’s still expensive and I am not madly in love with it. I don’t wanna have to convince myself to love it. i typically put on bag and fall in love immediately, so if I’m undecided, it must be that it’s not the right one for me. I can’t wait to see yours!

I agree with you it is still expensive. If you had the first one and loved it you probably won 't be happy with this one. I did; however, compare the 2 in terms of measurement. The OG one is much wider that the new one albeit it's about an inch shorter. As far as being madly in love, if I get really really honest I haven't been madly in love with a bag really, since Loop and then Maida Hobo, which I returned for wonky stitching at the empriente part. Super out of alignment. I think I'm just too saturated with them and probably shouldn't be buying anything at this point. But, we shall see.....

I agree with you although my last 2 bags I have loved. BV cassette in rainforest and the Loewe mini puzzle. LOVE both. And you are totally right about having loved the OG. This won’t ever measure up in my mind.

I picked up mine yesterday, and I don't feel like there is a lot going on. I just wish they hadn't done the guitar strap...this is getting so old. GIve it a shot, maybe you will like it.

PS: I didn't have the OG but I think I like this better because it lays flat across the body and doesn't protrude.
