I was going to purchase the high rise but I prefer the original as well. It’s perfect and I’ve used it extensively, no cracking.

I also love the top handle on OG, this is helping me really cement my decision. And…I feel ok with the pre loved price for the great condition it’s in.

Me too. I wasn’t interested at first from the pics. But in person it’s actually super cute and well made.
Amongst many others on this thread, I cancelled my order for the high rise bum bag. It has been pending order validation for over a week now. The light color of the strap is not practical for my life with kids and I was also not sure of the size as I am 5’4” barely and smaller frame. Worried it would swallow me up! I was hoping to find an everyday LV bag after selling my Alma BB and my Siena PM. I guess I will have to wait and see what else they come out with and continue wearing my low maintenance Alo and Lulu belt bags.
I feel this. I’m about to cancel my order too if it doesn’t come soon. I have a Burberry bum bag that’s my go-to…..thinking about getting another one of those if this LV one doesn’t work out.
Mine was still pending as of yesterday, ordered August 5th. I too cancelled. I saw it in person and I didn't think it would swallow me up, it just was 'eh' to me. Plus it is very slim which helps it contour to the body; however, I just didn't click with it. Probably the dang guitar strap - I think if they would have made it in a different color I could have gotten on board. I like the OG better and I decided it was a lot of money to pay for something I am so ambivalent about.
I still have it with the tag on. I need to decide soon. I have till Aug 23 to keep or mail it back. The price is really good, the condition is great. Much better than I ve seen on Fashionphile and Ann’s, who are asking way more. I’m probably gonna keep it, I thjnk it looks good on me. I asked one of my young employees and she assured me Im not too old to carry it off.
I’m beginning to wonder what the heck kind of games are going on with this bag. I ordered it on Fri the day it launched. Supposedly LV received the order from the store Sat. My SA told me it was estimated to ship today and kept telling me be paitent. LV client services keeps telling me 24-36 days lead time. I message my SA today who’s now telling me it’s being pushed out to 9/10. Wth! I’m not happy that I’ve paid fully for a bag I haven’t seen in person, nor have any real idea when I may get it. They tell me orders are closed, no one else can even order it, were are not accepting any more orders. Then I read on here that others are indeed ordering it online. I don’t get these games Louis Vuitton plays with all this bag hype! It’s annoying as heck!!
