LV Croisette Hardware Scratches

I purchased my first LV this past december :yahoo: However... I noticed the other day that the front closure has quite a bit of scratches. I was pretty careful with the bag and I've been more careless with my contemporary bags and haven't gotten scratches this easily. The gold is so shiny that no one would notice but me though. Does LV hardware just scratch pretty easily in general?

I think when it's your first LV, you notice wear more. I don't believe LV scratches more easily than any other brand. Enjoy!
