What do you mean with matte leather? Damier Ebene is made from canvas, not leather.

Damier ebene has the brown leather trim. it used to be shiny and a few years ago they changed it to a dull non shiny matte. They discontinued the Pochette accessories in Damier ebene. I was just wondering if it was ever made with non shiny trim. Or was it discontinued before the new brown leather that they use now.

Ah okay, that’s a better explanation of your question I don’t have an answer for you as I didn’t buy LV back when the DE PA was still around. You could look up some picture of it here on the forum or maybe Vestiaire Collective to see if there’s a difference in the leather. Or maybe someone else has an answer. Good luck!
