What a conundrum - itās beautiful for sure. And you should have gotten it on launch date!! It is indeed $$ you could travel with, the bag of course is a collectors forever piece I would imagine. And Iām betting you would get less fearful of taking it outside. Our lovely pieces are meant to be enjoyed and to go places. Hope your decision gets easier, Iām wondering if you had gotten on launch date if all your doubts would have slipped awayā¦ if you get it we canāt wait to see it!

Hello @MyBelongs to Louis! Thank you, I absolutely love this bag. The leather is smooth and soft feeling, not rubbery at all. The handle has a gorgeous hand to it. And the monogram is subtly shiny. Iām not 100% itās the same as the ink leather, but it certainly looks the same. The chain is heavy, but gorgeous, and the ink pieceās chains look like they might weigh more also with the gold and the leather entwined. I donāt always use the chain on it. But for the right outing I would wear the chain as a necklace!! š¤How gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your stunning bag @DrTr ! It's great to actually see this elegant finish on an actual bag before the Alma's releaseIs the leather rubbery or smooth feeling (like the black leather on the Palm Springs backpack line)? This is a bag I would call medium maintenance. I donāt hesitate to use it for errands or a meal out, as many here know I use most of my small bags on dog walks and hikes, I doubt I will take this one on walks. That said, if I happened to be out with it and my girl, and needs be, I would take it. My guess it might scratch, but not so far with regular use. HTH. If I hadnāt gotten this piece I would have considered an ink piece, I think they are gorgeous.

I just played with it at the store today! No issues with the zipper. Smooth and easy to use. If not smooth, can easily fix by running wax paper over it. They can do it at the store for you too.
