My main/preferred CA is in a different state from me. She preordered the monoglam speedy 20 for me.

Went into a local LV today and looked at the monoglam pieces they had in store (Keepall, loop, zippy, pochette metis ew). Everything but the metis ew was silvery. I prefer the dark blue base.

Either way, not sure how I feel about this collection. I don’t really like the feel of the canvas/material, and it’s not as holographic as I had hoped. If you want something that’s subtle, monoglam is fine. If you want something with more “oomph,” I don’t know if this is it.

Now wondering if I want to make the trek to look at the Speedy waiting for me, or just pass on it.

Can they send you pictures of the speedy waiting for you, or ship it to you? I’m tempted by the monoglam speedy myself but mostly I love the contrast of the blue leather trim and strap. You might regret not seeing yours in person. You can always return it if it doesn’t wow you. I find it really odd that there are two different textile colors in this line.

Interesting observation! Wonder why there are two different types of the material and if that was intentional or not. So far I've seen mainly the light variation and just a couple of the darker one. Still contemplating what I like better.

I’m receiving my Neverfull today. My CA told me that according to her co-worker it does feel quite plastticky which will be a no go for me either way.

If the two weeks comes close, and I still haven’t gone, I’ll ask if it’s possible to ship it.

The speedy that was making the rounds on ig last week is actually mine lol I’ve seen it, and so has everyone else that follows this thread haha I like the material in photos/video, but in person, I was “meh.”

It feels like the plasticky and gummy bags I used to have when I was 6. I would have preferred an uncoated version. The coating really cheapens the overall look and feel, especially the silver version.

The gold monoglam is beautiful though. It looks like an actual luxury item. Unfortunately, there’s nothing in gold that I like/want.

Are you into the gold accessories at all? I wonder if the gold monoglam belt has the coating. I loved the disco look of the gold bags and micro vanity when I saw them in person! With the vachetta, they will look stunning when they age, too!

The mules/slides didn't have the sticky coating, you could feel the fabric properly.
