Hi, In April you were inquiring about an LV on Malleries. How was your experience? Did you eventually buy it. I have been 'looking' at one the vintage Chanels but dare not take the plunge - I hear you about using paypal and another tpfer mentioned authentication. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
I found out about Malleries through a youtuber "MelSoldera." Before I made the purchase on Malleries I compared LV speedy bags on that site as well as others since I've never owned any LV I wanted to make sure all the details on the speedy matched up. I also watched a few YouTube reviews on the bag itself and how to identify a fake speedy. Then I contacted MelSoldera and although she could not authenticate it for me she did guarantee the website was legit. Once I received the bag about 3 days later I though it was a fake and was to embarrassed to take it any LV boutique to have it hotstamped or even looked at for that matter. I tried contacting the seller and got one email saying it was authentic and then I tried contacting Malleries and they didn't offer much help basically just stated I needed to reach out to the seller and that all their items are authentic. I then went to PayPal and they did offer me a refund once I returned the bag but the return shipping postage would have to be covered by me. As a last resort I came on here to see if someone could give me a second opinion and it turns out the bag is AUTHENTIC! To clear any doubts I had I took it to a LV boutique to get it hotstamped and they took it in! They will NEVER service a counterfeit bag. Vintage chanels will be very hard to authenticate unless you can compare another vintage of that bag so you can see if the details match up.
