I've had the Bowler for a few months now. Granted, I don't use it every day--I've probably used it about three weeks straight if you put together all the times I've used it. I've taken it shopping, out around town, etc. No problems! I think the metallic is actually pretty durable.

Gators started a thread two days ago called "Luxury Line... How durable is it". Many of us answered the same question there. I've not had any problems with my black Metallic Flap (goatskin). The new ones for fall '06 are being made of deerskin (Cerf) and I know that is durable because I have and use the Cerf Tote alot.

I've used my metalllic bowler everyday now for the two months and so far so good. No problems at all.
