I forgot all about whiny Todger in his seat and it's all because of JohnnyWe're truly spoilt. The Hothunk is front and center, what a dreamboat.
I never expected Johnny to have such a prominent role in the coronation, not that I’m complaining! We're truly spoilt. The Hothunk is front and center, what a dreamboat.
DH said he didn't want to wear a wedding ring and I said that's OK, I won't wear one either.
We have both worn our wedding rings for nearly thirty years...![]()
It just makes one feel better just to look upon him.. (fresh haircut here.)Here is a picture of Johnny at the reception. I feel so much better seeing him.

On the internet, if you put in Johnny Thompson - all the headlines are "The hunk in the Kilt is back!I caught myself letting out a small sigh of relief when I first realized he was going to play a major role and be right behind his King. He has the most unobtrusive way of taking care of things. During the initial entry and seating of King Charles, for example, the end of the train on the cape needed a slight adjustment and with sleight of hand it was done. No one better could have had the back of those young pages.
I bet it gave Charles comfort and calm that his trusted equerry was the gentleman assisting him with his robe change during the ceremony in full view of everyone.
Wonder what Honor the King will bestow when Johnny’s service ends?

Royal fans swoon over Charles III's dashing equerry
The hunky officer, who is of the 5th Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland, was once the Queen's most senior bodyguard but is now serving His Majesty and has been seen at his side since last year.www.dailymail.co.uk
This morning from Sarah Vine:Why is the Daily Mail still referring to him as "Major"? He's been a Lieutenant Colonel for a while now, hasn't he? Although Google links are still referring to him as a Major.
Maybe someone familiar with British Army emblems of rank can take a look at recent photos taken in 2023? The Times referred to him as a Lieutenant Colonel in an article in December 2022.

they sure look like a Lieutenant Colonel's epaulettes to me.
Honestly, Harry looks so shabby in comparison, like a homeless man who got a chance to wash up at the Y and given faded hand-me-downs to go to church.
