They do look very elegant and it looks to me that the men in formal kilts are able to show far more sartorial style than a men wearing suits. There are more accessories so there can be more variations. The jackets have varied quite a bit and so have the sporrans. Even the socks and how they choose to tie their shoes varies from man to man.

. I like his hair, at least he should not go 3 times /week to the hair dresser,to look like Barbie.

Yes, but he should do a bit more than point an industrial-strength blow dryer in the general direction of his head and hit the "HIGH" button. There's supposed to be some sort of movement and a bit of brush or comb action involved. Otherwise he could just fold back the top on a vintage MGB and take it for a high-speed run after his morning bathe. Pleasant for sure, but leaves a bit to be desired in the "well-groomed" category.

(The above is referring to Boris, just to clarify.)

Colonel Thompson's hair always looks fine, and he never even seems to suffer from the dreaded "hat hair". I wish I knew how he does that!

Maybe William doesn't like his knees lol! Maybe he just doesn't have a comfort level as an adult to wear a kilt. He ought to try, because people are expecting it.
