OK, as a mod and a reader of this thread please indulge me as I review the following.

ON Topic: Photos and appreciation of men in kilts. Including Johnny Thompson.

OFF Topic: discussions of why any posts were deleted; lengthy discussion of other random people, including royals, and their relationships; back and forth discussions of non kilt related stuff between members: lengthy discussions of personal lives of anybody really unless it is KILT RELATED.

Men in kilts. That’s the topic.

As @Swanky said, this thread is a lot of work for moderators.

Also, we do not need a lot of repetition of the same pictures; it’s not against the rules but please let’s try to keep it fresh.

Not only is this article wrong (they are quoting the upper end of the pay band for tenured Lt.Cols not newly promoted ones)..it's also highly inappropriate. DM is having a slow news day as usual.

Here's something more interesting...the G.O.A.T in a kilt...I must say I do love a kilt with a bow tie!

@DoggieBags :Alan Cumming is the textbook definition of "impishness". He's such a treasure. The head-to-toe tartan paired with that beautiful sporran is so, so nice.
Momoa is also making me realize that kilts can look so appealing on these, um, "thicker" and more formidable men.

Diana’s popularity didn’t go over so well with C in the 80 s and 90s.

His time is nearly over anyway. Early next year we believe. Equerries have a 3 year tenure. Our Jonny will be going back to his Regiment soon. And yes, Charles was jealous of Diana's popularity, but I suppose he is older and wiser now. Youth and beauty will always attract attention.
