It is not about 3 years limit, this is usually for an equerry position, it is something else.
I think after 3 years (in March 2023) he will become another position, better than this, in the Royal Household, which will not be time limited.
I have a feeling about that.
The coronation is in May but I have no idea how the Royals work or positions.
JT might want to go back to his regiment.?? AND spend more time with his family.!?

May be he will bring his family to London. They live in Surrey, but if this info is still accurate I do not know.
Since Charles became king, I see on JT a type of arrogancy, a type of entitlement, maybe I am wrong, you can’t judge from small clips, but he is parading too much, there are other equerries who keep a low profile, of course they aren’t handsome and they don’t have the charisma of JT, anyway I wish to him and to his family all the best, at the end of the day he deserve it, he is really hardworking.

And for example, he has not actualised his Linkedin profile since 2006.
Rob Dixon has a lot in his profile.
In all the videos with visits abroad he came as last from the plane, carring his own luggage, and triyng to be as much as effective he can. You can see in a video from Rwanda landing-I post it some pages before.
I saw it, too. I mean, the arrival in Rwanda.

He's not arrogant at all, just he's more visible now he's the king's equerry. I have seen pics of him carrying Camila's purse, flowers, the king's coat handed by the bodyguards to him, etc.

I do

I don’t arrogance at all. He goes where the King tells him to go.. Speaks and hands him information as is his job, seemingly 24 hours a day!

Matter of fact, I see the same smile and attitude as in Balmoral welcoming reviews with HMTQ. He was commanding officerof regiment there 3 years I believe.
Hes just more handsome now, if anything.

He’s supposed to guess what the King is thinking and get in front of it, such as the ‘pens’ during the Proclamation signing!! Thankfully, now it isn’t OFF WITH YOUR HEAD if he guesses wrong!

This was a happy story (and still is)
But there are also other "equerry" stories:
Princess Margaret and Cpt.P Townsend

View attachment 5651979
or the story of Major Hugh Lindsay.
Actually it wasn’t a happy story and it doesn’t belong on this thread. Let’s stick to the topic. If you want to start a thread about equerries of the Royal Family, go for it. Thanks
