He's mentioned..how do you know? Then she will leak just ,a letter, and no middleman. In her case she is not sharp tool in shed and able to learn that a king has a secretary for it unless a direct link to the king like Kate and co. Apparently she is a leader in the union with Prince Harry so she will discuss with the king lol. Do you think Major also acts as a door wrestler to stop any gatecrashing? She has had an affair in her 30, married, with 23 yes old single NHLer, sent a wedding band by mail to her husband with plans to stay with richer NHLer who got a ride and more brain cells than Prince Harry, bless him. Let's hope your Major did not fall into her trap...anyway I am sure the coverage boosts his ego and vanity

As much as I love looking at Major Johnny, I wish there is less reporting/ social media/ fanfare on this guy. He's supposed to be in the background doing his job. All this popularly isn't necessarily good for him. It might even jeopardize his career. Or he be moved somewhere else.

Markle would have contacted Sir Clive Alderton who is the King's Principal Private Secretary and is with him most of the time. Major Thompson is his equerry but is not on duty all the time, only during official engagements.
He is a Serving Officer in the Army, currently with the Royal Regiment of Scotland, but has been seconded to serve the King.
With the greatest of respect, some of your posts are quite offensive towards Major Thompson which is not in keeping with the general tone of this thread. My mother always told me that if you can't say anything nice, then say nothing.

Her trouble is she is quite not so smart and able to learn as you see. Also King's private secretary will block her unless she has a direct access to Charles. Major is other way if it was true. She used her charm offensive and he's vain man but maybe it was bs by Neil. I just wonder why he has mentioned it goes via an equarry. Those royal commentators need to do also their homework.

What letter MM wrote if she wrote one at all, and whether it was received by a be-kilted Major (who is there as equerry to deal with, among other things, communications from military veterans and serving soldiers and/or family members of the same NOT alleged letters from the King’s daughter-in-law), or the actual private Secretary of the King, Sir Clive Alderton, or a random footman at Buckingham Palace, or a carrier pigeon or tapped out in Morse code … is all completely moot as the King is in Scotland and the Sussexes have allegedly returned to California. There will be no private meeting. And that particular Royal commentator might want to rename himself Jon Snow, because he knows nothing.
