From the DailyMail article it said Meghan sent a letter to Charles, who has a private secretary. So the secretary would have received the letter not Major Thompson.

Yes I think he courts the publicity and creates it. More obvious after the news he was contacted by Meghan Markle..I am sure she had had a personal meet up with him before a letter for a king. Do you think Kate writes him a letter? Do you think Markle has seduced him to get a help for her plans? He looks similar type at least in case of high profile and he's vain Meghan can play it well as the fiddle..like her royal husband...
