A quick glance at Queen Elizabeth’s former equerries reveals that … yes, they end up as Group Captains, Squadron Leaders, Vice Admirals etc. I’d expect Major Johnny gets promoted Lieutenant Colonel and either command of a battalion of his regiment (technically Balaklava Company is a battalion but it’s very small!) or some kind of staff officer position.

I think I know who you mean; I don’t believe she’s a military equerry since she is never in uniform. I think she’s Camilla’s lady in waiting or else works for Charle’s comms team. It would be major (pardon the pun) news and widely reported for the royals to have a female equerry, just as it was when the Queen appointed Lt Colonel Nana Kofi Twumasi-Ankrah as her first Black equerry.

No. Just Princess Anne is also a honourary commander of Blues and Royals as their Colonel in Chief, quite unknown and young looking female royal became a replacement for Prince Harry as Captain General Royal Marines. I don't think there is huge number of female officers anyway...

To the chin. His parents live 20? Miles down the road from Balmoral in Banchory where his father runs a business. He is not upper class but he comes from wealthy background and maybe Charles has had an affair with his mother ...a joke.

He was single. Can you post a photo of that blonde sitting next to Major Thompson? The new Captain General RM is a blonde and there is other equarry in form of Major Tom White from Royal Marines.

Can you post a photo of the blonde here, pls? If she older? Maybe Camilla's private secretary. She is often with her nowadays. Younger? Unless Major White was asked to end his call of duty, it's possible there is female linked to Royal Marines.

I am not reading any rags. His parents live close to Banchory and it's more than 20 miles from Balmoral, more from Aberdeen but his family has had an estate here since late 19th century, so philanthropy locally and that's why he also welcomes Queen at Balmoral. His father runs a biz here. Don't attack, just interesting info about his posh background. So his wife comes from public school and rides the horse.

I’m not attacking i’m just saying that’s all untrue, and I know that for a fact. Please don’t believe everything the newspapers report as so much of it is untrue!
