I didn't catch the entire conversation as I was more interested in her constantly rubbing her nose and then fingering the bank note that made me wonder whether or not she was trying to transfer her "bugs" to someone else. How's that for a conspiracy theory? Anyway she wanted Charles to have the note that he supposedly autographed for her some years ago and then Charles gave the note to Major Jonny because BRF members aren't allowed to keep any gifts from the spectators. I believe all gifts are itemized and possibly given to charities, etc.
In any case, I took another screenshot of Major Jonny. It's a bit blurry, but it's definitely him near Charles.

Here’s another video from the event. The poor guy is sweating in his uniform. Around 3:05, you can see him wipe the sweat from his forehead.

I would definitely not like to be dressed in layers of heavy wool even in 25C weather let alone hotter! (At least he doesn’t have to wear a bearskin hat!)

And they posted this as well about the training for mounting the Queen’s Guard at Balmoral. I’m pretty sure that’s Major Johnny on the far right though the photo was taken from a LONG way off!

The conspiracy-minded part of my brain says MJ is trying to be less conspicuous by not wearing his uniform BUT it’s probably much more likely that it’s a non-military sort of event so you don’t turn up in uniform for it.

Also, I’ve seen a ton of people comment that MJ looks like Prince William’s brother from another mother and I finally found a photo of them together in similar poses with similar expressions and wearing the same color coat. (This is from the Armistice Day memorial in 2020 when the public couldn’t attend.) I don’t know, there’s a vague resemblance about the mouth and chin but they only look as similar as two tall, attractive white guys might to me? (*whispers* MJT is more handsome IMO!) What do you guys think?

I don't think they look anything alike. Their facial structure (cheekbones etc) and noses are completely different. Even their skin tones are not the same.

Personally I think Prince William is more handsome, but I'll be honest that the kilt photos of MJ have me shook. Thinking about ordering a kilt for hubby, lol.

I think it’s because the event is non-military. He’s wearing his uniform during the opening ceremony of the games. Here he is albeit bending down to talk to that lady. He might try to be less conspicuous though. I think he now just found out about him being famous. He changed is twitter name & his wife (ex-wife? MJT you need to show a clearer picture of your left hand!) made her FB private.

I mean Prince William is very good looking amongst his family (though I think Peter Phillips is even better-looking) but for me, the Major has the edge for cheekbones:

Well, I mean he was commanding the Queen’s guard at Balmoral four years ago, and I would assume he’s been exceptionally handsome for his entire adult life, but the real attention only started when he was seated behind Harry and Meghan at the jubilee. And I honestly think that was mostly chance - they had Prince Charles’s household seated behind them, so he could easily have been behind Jack Brooksbank and not been noticed at all, let alone receive this deluge of attention.
The lady in the black hat on Major Johnny’s right is I think one of Camilla’s ladies in waiting because she shows up a lot (wearing the same black hat) in various appearances by Charles and Camilla, to her right is Lord Rosslyn, who was at one time the head of the Metropolitan Police Royalty and Diplomatic Protection Department, who’s been Master of the Household to Prince Charles since 2014, and on HIS right, on the aisle, you can just see Sir Clive Alderton, who is Prince Charles’s Private Secretary. The only weird thing is that those three individuals only arrived with Prince Charles (if you watch the videos, the seats are empty when Harry and Meghan are seated because PC isn’t there yet) and Major Johnny was there much earlier, but for other events, they usually seem to arrive together.

I only post pictures from public events too. Someone on twitter found his wife’s FB page & started sharing the private pics on twitter. The person’s twitter account is now suspended & that’s when MJT changed his twitter name & the FB went private.

IMO Major Johnny is more handsome and attractive than William, who looks constipated during some of his engagements whereas the Major always seems to enjoy every part of his job even when he's not smiling. Of course he looks great in a kilt, but his pleasant demeanor far outweighs the kilt effect. I agree with you that the Major has lovely curly hair and that Yul Brynner will forever be the epitome of the gorgeous bald man.

That may be because they are both in uniform and it is also one of the reasons why students had/have to wear school uniforms so that everyone looks about the same.
