He does sometimes get a look in his eyes that is a bit attention-getting ... Like he is 100% focused something. I would not want to be in between between Jonny and whatever he is looking at when he gets that look if he were to decide to make a quick move!Classic Jonny ‘on duty’. Today has really been a nightmare for all RPO’s. Thank goodness it’s the last day. On a few occasions Jonny looked really tense. I think this is the worst I have seen on a visit. Thankfully all ok.
I think the French genuinely underestimated the interest there would be for the King & Queen, both from the people and press and all media in France.
They were unprepared and didn't seem to think the scrum was a problem. We're not used to that here in the UK, as the police would not allow the free for all. The French Police did seem very casual.
And now ridiculous fake controversy about them flying to Bordeaux instead of taking the train being created by Richard Palmer of the Express. I wsth the Royal Rota would be cleared of idiots like him.
Off topic, but I know how Jonny feels! I haven't eaten since Breakfast waiting for the gas engineer to come and check my boiler. An appointment was made 1 - 6pm. My stomach is rumbling! I didn't want to be in the middle of cooking when he called as the stove is next to the Boiler.
