I don't know if the Queen had a funny turn but just as they were going to walk up into the Frigate, the King looked concerned and seemed to ask if she was okay? He then gently put his arm around her to help her and they walked slowly. It was so sweet and caring.

I'm not surprised, apparently they had to fly to Bordeaux as media leaked the embargoed info that they were to travel by train, according to Cameron Walker on tv. Total chaos when they landed and someone apparently hassling the Queen, no-one beside her interfered.

I saw that. For such a big man he moves very quickly. The look on his face says it all, he must be having kittens. Am sure he will be very relieved when they are back on home soil.

How on earth does that work? The amount of vile posts coming from the USA with photoshopped images of our Royal family, especially the Prince and Princess of Wales and HM The Queen flood social media on a daily basis. I take it nothing is done unless a complaint is made. I won’t even mention their tabloid magazines

Just spoke with a police friend who told me this chaos is due to lack of proper advance planning from the police to control the media crowds. Mission a total fail on their part

Absolutely! And they completely get in the way of the King & Queen meeting the French people. Endless cameras pushing right up close, it's absurd!

Very few people are going to press charges. In most cases they do not want the publicity. I am not a reader of the tabloids. As far as what is posted on the internet, I do not know. I will say, the British tabloids and the American press are the worst of all. Anything for a click is their motto.

I saw that, a strange looking woman, and as the French Police didn't move her on, I assumed she must be a Bordeaux Representative or something? It was weird as the Queen looked not to engage with her at all.
Also I was surprised they flew there. Now I know why.

I sincerely hope Jonny doesn't get the blame in the debrief.

Our poor Jonny! Everyone on the plane soon I hope and rewarded with hot meals, cool air conditioning, chocolate and a wee dram for all around!
