Just had to post a couple of screengrabs of the Departure.
BBC News left after the K&Q waved at the top of the plane stairs. I thought Nooooo, we want to see Jonny going up aswell. I bet he skips up those stairs to go inside the plane!

You can see in those screengrabs how close the photographers are to the King. That doesn't happen here. They are all grouped at a distance behind a barrier.

I believe that was Sir Clive Alderton, the King’s private Secretary since the Prince of Wales days. Another thing that may be contributing to Johnny’s longevity as the King’s Equerry is the close working relationship he seems to have with this immensely powerful man. If you watch any videos from the period in which then Prince Charles took over many of the late Queen’s duties as her health declined (2021 onward), you’ll see Johnny and Sir Clive thick as thievesTHANK YOU! Welcome ! - A quick answer is that I don't know where they go on their return to England, but I don't think that it will be Scotland.

Did you see the news about the King and several bicyclists meeting up. I think the King was on a walk at Balmoral. Rainy misty day too. Fog shrouded hills and rain - best days for hiking in MHO
