Lovin' the Collier de Chien Bracelets!!!

I am visiting from LV Forum...

I love bracelets and have recently decided to order my first Hermes....upon considering a few options, I opted for CdC in ombre lizard with gold hardware...

Can anyone tell me the wear and tear of CdC and any way to prevent scratches on hardware?

I don’t take out all the plastics unless absolutely necessary. I take out the plastic from the studs but leave the one covering the base untouched until it wants to come off. Buys me some time before having to deal with smileys. By then the bracelet has probably broken in enough.

You can hardly notice the plastic unless you go very close to it.

I saw the Ebene this past summer in the website and couldn’t find it in any US stores. Just purchased the Barenia since was the last one on the website. If not I’ll be going to Paris in June so I can always check there.
