This is so trueTotally worth it for me. If you buy Cartier you are paying for the design, name and services not $ per carat...

Yes I agree, definitely paying for the brand name and design, history...Not $ per carat at allTotally worth it for me. If you buy Cartier you are paying for the design, name and services not $ per carat...
Have to disagree here. Selection of the diamonds is an area where Cartier *does not shine* so to speak. In fact Cartier is waaaaay subpar. They need to address this if they want to avoid fallouts in teh future.
First, they do not care about certifiation under a specific size - cannot recall where that is but it applies to all JUCs, Loves and Panthères.
Second - and this is subjective - sparkling of Cartier diamonds is lower than on other jewelers. There are some movies from professionals on the internet.
Third, they don't care about fluorescence. This might be okay if they assemble them in a special pattern, maybe like strips on a Pavé but no, they are just randomly placed. Looks awful especially when spending $30.000 or more. Totally unacceptable.
Forth, WG is brighter than RG and YG. I do have both a Panthère pavé in WG and RG. The RG is dull, the WG shines.
You are right it's all about perception. I'd like to perceive that the diamonds are certified, they sparkle as well as non-Cartier diamonds, perceive no fluorescence and see no difference between RG und WG. Looks my perception is not perfect or at least not where Cartier wants me to have it![]()
I did regret a little not getting the Juc sm with diamond (I bought the plain).****Bumping up this post!!
I’m having the same dilemma right now between the YG 4 diamond love vs plain. Price difference is now like 5k
Will be my first love bracelet and I know I will definitely want to purchase another love to stack. Im leaning towards the plain love for now but having major FOMO as the 4 dia love will be more $$$ to purchase in the future.
To those who had the same dilemma as me, what did you guys end up getting and are you happy with your decision? Regrets?

If you can afford it def get the diamond version. I got JUC reg with no diamonds - regret it to this day. And so all my subsequent purchases at Cartier were always with diamonds eg love ring with diamonds, love bracelet with 4 diamonds, JUC ring with diamonds****Bumping up this post!!
