I’m using it today! Not sure if it goes with my outfit - I tried to pick out the blue and green - but you know the pull of a new bag. 😄 I didn't use the front pocket and I think I won’t unless I really need the space. The main compartment fits my Kindle, water bottle (I have a special flat one for bags that won’t fit round ones), CCH, little pouch of meds/hair clips/lip balm etc., pack of tissues, earphones in their case, keys and tiny reusable shopping bag. It doesn’t fit an umbrella or scarf on top of those things which are the other items I’m likely to carry, but I get back pain from heavy crossbody bags so this is actually a good size for me. I guess it depends what will bother you more - the lighter colour or having a bag bigger than you prefer to carry.
On the hardware, yes mine has a slightly “tarnished” look to it too. I think it’s supposed to be like that. I have a Mulberry bag with a similar look that was described as “antique” or something; I thought it might need cleaning but it was never supposed to be shiny gold. I think the toned down effect works better with the colour of the leather.
So bizarre, I guess it’s the look they were going for but it just looks weird for a new bag. Maybe they’re going for the golden goose trend of new items looking worn lol.
Thank you for such a helpful review. It sounds like the bag is working out well for you so far. The front pocket really adds a cute touch to the look of the bag, so maybe you can just consider it as a design element, and then you won’t have to worry about potential damage from opening and closing it often.
My Tyler the Creator Mini Golf Bag Arrived!
My SA saw the Tyler the Creator Mini Golf Bag flash back into stock and we jumped on it. She is the best—alerts me as soon as something comes in stock.
We actually tried ordering it in the same way once before, but it got canceled. Luckily, this second time worked and it’s in perfect condition!

All of the hardware on mine is more of a brushed gold/brass, not shiny like some of my other bags. That’s how it is supposed to be. I’d say it’s very similar to the hardware on my monogram petit noe for example.
Not sure if other bags in this collection come with the shiny polished hardware. But considering this is a mens collection i think the brushed look fits well!
Hello strangers! I got busy and slowed down here at tpf. But I’ve checked in periodically. Wasn’t sure when Tyler dropped if I liked or wanted any. Well, as is often the case, as time went on, of course I did! I stalked and got the mini trunk key holder a few weeks ago - a great piece for my AirPods Pro and my key fob. Then I kept getting drawn to the vanilla envelope wallet, and the nano steamer. Both were sold out, but somehow as I refreshed LV.com multiple times, the envelope dropped and I snagged it. It arrived today and it’s the same one @nicole0612 had been grappling with.
I absolutely love this envelope wallet, it’s a perfect size for all my things, plenty long for my iPhone promax 15, the canvas is such a wonderful vanilla (not white not beige) color and the stylized monogram with his adorable dog is gorgeous. But…when I pulled out the strap to try it on my heart sunk. I could tell it wouldn’t work crossbody for me, and the strap is not removable. Sure enough, it was about 8” too short and hit me way to high on the ribs. I had a momentary lapse of reason and thought “I could just cut the strap off and use my Pharrell speedy 18 strap 😜🤪🤨 that hits me perfectly for crossbody use.” Of course I couldn’t do that - I’m not sure I could cut a bag strap off of a Coach bag even!! So I’m just admiring it for now and am returning. But if the strap had worked that bag would be mine! The quality is perfect. I always buy bags with removable straps, but I had purchased before I saw that.
The second fun part of the story is that my wonderful online CA managed to find me a nano steamer in the vanilla, and it’s arriving tomorrow!! That was really my first choice so fingers crossed it’s perfect and works well. It also has a removable strap. It’s almost exactly the same size as the envelope, just a north south bag instead. I have nothing like it in my collection, so I’m excited. Can’t wait and I will post pics for that tomorrow. Love everyone’s pieces!

So pretty! The dog is definitely my favourite part of the print ☺️ I’ve been tempted to cut the straps for some of my bags before that weren’t removable but I’m thankful later on I didn’t 😅
I hope the steamer works out for you. I think it’s too small for me but it was the other bag I was eyeing in the collection.
@DrTr I love the nano steamer, but it’s actually slightly bigger aesthetically compared to the Tyler envelope wearable wallet, so since you love the size of the wearable wallet, I don’t think you’ll find the nano steamer too small. The only possible issue is if the North South vs East West orientation will make a difference for stacking things. Fingers crossed!
Thanks @nicole0612 glad to hear the nano steamer is slightly bigger. I have the black Pharrell nano Alma that is north south, and my things fit fine without much stacking. I carry a Pocket Organizer in my smaller bags, AirPods Pro, a small sundry box, my large phone and keys either in the bag or in a key pouch. When I need to carry more I take larger bags but the steamer seems the perfect size for a run around bag! Thanks to @ArielS in an earlier post #453 in Men’s SS24 Pharrell thread she compared a nano speedy, the Pharrell speedy 18 and the Pharrell nano steamer and it was very helpful in terms of the what things fit inside - she did lots of work!
My new bag is processing in my city as we speak, so hopefully later today I’ll have my new one! Can’t wait and will post when it arrives.
