I Bought My Dog the Tyler the Creator Collab Dog Carrier (Sac Chien)​

I got the Louis Vuitton x Tyler the Creator dog carrier (Sac Chien) for my dog, @ KobeTheNorwich!


At the time, I was on the fence but considering ordering it. But my SA said the only one available in person was at his location, Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive. When I saw it, I had to get it!


My dog (Norwich Terrier) looks a little like Craggy (Airedale Terrier), Tyler’s mascot for the collection. Plus the carrier has new features that the old one I had didn’t: removable washable carpet, bag-connected leash, a bandolier, and magnets to keep the front flap closed. Sad that the screen in front is mesh and not a metal grate, but it looks great.


So happy with this purchase and I think Kobe likes it too!

I am so happy for you, congrats! Perfect timing for Spring.

I ordered it in chocolate, but I knew from the intel here that it would probably only be available in Vanilla in the USA. This is the order photo, to compare with the Vanilla in case you are curious (Vanilla modeling photo thanks to Merfy on IG).

I do like the shape a lot, more than the larger zip version that does come in chocolate. I am playing with the idea of returning this one and getting on the waitlist for the mini steamer, which I love a little more in the vanilla colorway, since the bag itself is a bit more funky and unusual, to offset the prettier vanilla colorway.

Just saw this post- I hope you get the mini steamer in Vanilla if that sings to you more! The Steamer does have that extra edge! I do love the texture of the button on the Envelope pouch in this collection, but the chocolate that you have has that, too. Congrats on your new items and good luck with deciding on the Steamer

I hope you decide to keep the Vanilla, it is so cute and looks very roomy! It literally looks delicious, I keep thinking of doughnuts and cookies when I see it, which is what Tyler intended lol 😆 I think it is definitely a funky and non-girly piece , will look great with black or denim. Just be super careful with the dark colours though.

I was wearing a black dress which I thought was colourfast and has been washed enough, but it seems to have left some black stain on my yellow keepall xs

At least the Vanilla has enough different colours on it that it may "offset" any signs of colour transfer.

I love the way you see the Vanilla print as a Candy shop/old-time bakery vibe! I love that, and it makes a lot of sense with the collection as a whole. Let me look at it with fresh eyes now, but I have a good feeling… We like a lot of the same pieces!

I thought I would look up some styling photos to get inspired and it worked! I really like this look, it makes me realize that I should shorten the strap so it fits at a little more unexpected/utilitarian length as shown here, instead of hitting at hip length, which was giving more “lady’s purse” vibes. Maybe I can attach a funky little charm also (this hat is amazing!). Thanks for the positive thoughts! Feeling much more excited now ❤️

My nano pdv arrived. It’s so cute with the terrier interior. The vachetta on mng golf is untreated. I kinda wish there’s pink marque L.Vuitton on both sides. The thick strap is a little awkward but I can swap it out with speedy b strap.

Yikes, am loving the vanilla canvas and wasn’t paying attention when it dropped. I think the vanilla nano steamer is great. But noticed today the LV website is acting wonky - this morning the price for the nano steamer was $2470 US - this afternoon it’s $2720! Basically a 8% price increase in two weeks. Never surprised but what a skeezy practice. What do you figure all of a sudden more will become available?! Must be busily raising prices on everything! 🙄

I think they legit raised the prices on some items. The voyage souple looks like it went up in price. not cool!

You are right! It shows as the old price, but then when you click on the item, the higher price shows up on the product page. I found these 2 so far.

How disappointing there is glue that’s visible! I’m not aware of an LV thread like this, but @docride in the Hermes threads is a magician on bag restoration and leathers and treatments in the H world. I wonder if there is an LV thread about removing glue from vachetta anywhere in this forum? It looks like it should just gently roll off, and LV should have removed that before shipping, but I would hesitate too. Good luck, it’s such a cute little bag.

Hi @nicole0612 - your vanilla bag is such a great bag - sorry you are having to try and fall in love with it! It sounds like because you would love it in chocolate, it’s more the light canvas that is holding you up. I don’t see it so much is a cutesy lady bag - it is fun, but it’s also different from other LV bags. I realized about half my LV collection are “men’s” bags as I like the clean lines of many of those pieces. I surprised myself because I don’t usually like like super light colored bags either partly because my style is more funky and black and silver, and other colors are my usual go to, but for some reason, I like this vanilla canvas with the print. Adjusting the strap so it hits you differently sounds like that helped you.

Here is a picture of the fast line, along with the mini craggy trunk I was able to stalk and get last week! The shape of the fastline and your vanilla bag are pretty similar and I can carry everything I need in that fastline wallet, including an iPhone 15 Promax. I adore that little bag, and I do wear it right at my hip bone, crossbody. I added the little trunk so I’d stay on topic. And this is the lightest color bag I own (except for a half white/half black leather NF) and I’ve had no color transfer issues. I do have the pastel escale NF canvas and no transfer on it either, though I hand carry it about half the time.

Bottom line - are you trying to talk yourself into it because it’s so unique and special? And will you wear it? I loved a thread in the H forum about what we’ve learned and mistakes we’ve made buying bags. And we were to be brutally honest with ourselves 🤓 Brutal honesty has helped me and I’ve sent a few back that would have taken up space but not gotten used. One of the other best replies for me was “trying to buy a bag that didn’t suit me fully or my lifestyle as I live it”. My style changed after lockdowns and work from home - I buy smaller bags typically now. But I also usually by limited edition because I like many of them.

Was that enough preach for you ? I would wear and love that cutie in a heartbeat, but you have to love it. Let us know what you decide - it can be really hard sometimes. Good luck and HTH!
