I just don't understand why this should consider as a reward to loyal LV customer. In my option, the reason why two brand collaborates is they want to attract customer from both sides. If LV don't like Supreme customers and the Supreme way of release, they should not collaborate with Supreme at first place. But I do agree with you, the exclusivity is what interests many.Wow, reading through all this. Have to say though, I'd rather they reward the long-time, high spending customers than those who are jumping on the bandwagon.
And, as much as this has resulted in bad press, it has resulted in a lot of attention ("love me; hate me. Just don't ignore me.") and those who never bought anything previously are now enticed to become loyal customers to try to reach VIC status.. This is probably more their intent than anything else.
