Wow, reading through all this. Have to say though, I'd rather they reward the long-time, high spending customers than those who are jumping on the bandwagon.

And, as much as this has resulted in bad press, it has resulted in a lot of attention ("love me; hate me. Just don't ignore me.") and those who never bought anything previously are now enticed to become loyal customers to try to reach VIC status.. This is probably more their intent than anything else.
I just don't understand why this should consider as a reward to loyal LV customer. In my option, the reason why two brand collaborates is they want to attract customer from both sides. If LV don't like Supreme customers and the Supreme way of release, they should not collaborate with Supreme at first place. But I do agree with you, the exclusivity is what interests many.

Just my five cents. :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

This is fine if my order can't be fulfilled- but then she also mentioned all stock was bought out this AM, all 10 stores are sold out. YET all US stores maintained today that no stock was available in ANY store, and we know no one walked out with anything. So what's going on? I'm upset because corporate is changing their story left and right and treating actual clients like monkeys.

Stock never reached the stores. They were all in Vuitton's warehouse since the beginning, never shipped out.

Exactly, we knew this already. My SA told me
nothing would be That's why I feel like LV is playing us like monkeys and telling us "sorry all sold out via stores" when we know stores didn't get anything. I don't blame the SA, but I am frustrated that corporate is making them basically lie to their clients.

Maybe it's the 80/20 rule of sales. 20% of Vuitton VIP customer make up for 80% of their business? The point is they don't want to piss off those that are loyal to the brand because that could means losing lots of money in the long run. Plus what happened in LA and people line up days in advance was just too much for Vuitton's image for them to sacrifice so they can get some customers whom will never step foot inside LV again after this.

Update: (which kinda ties into this mess of information from LV)

So I got an email this AM for the items I ordered through my SA. I wasn't billed so I called Client Services to at least confirm my order exists.

Rep says he sees my order but then says wait this order was removed. Supreme items that launched on the website last week were an error and none of those orders will be fulfilled.
I said I'm aware but this was not an online order from last week when that occurred, I submitted these items to my SA whom earlier this week received confirmation I would be getting these items and this morning I received an email confirmation as well.

He basically states that Supreme is sold out in the US and we will not be selling in any stores or online. We have no inventory available.

I hang up obvs frustrated that my order was cancelled or why it even was processed to only be cancelled.

I talk to my SA who is confused as she reached out to her team who confirmed they were in the "finalized list".

Anyway, just an hour ago I get two separate emails confirming my items (at this point I'm annoyed they're still messing with me) but this time the items actually posted to my LV account and my card was finally charged.

I won't believe it til my items actually ship or arrive.

But if my order is real, finally, I'm confused as to why the CS rep would say they're sold out and no orders can be made yet, HOPEFULLY, my order just went through, hours after he assured me there was no inventory. Seems like their own employees are in the dark or LV just wants their employees to mislead everyone.

I am no VIC, I shop there from time to time at best btw.

I, for one, love the collaboration. Although they could take down the font branding a notch on some of the designs. But then again, this line is pandering on the Insta-likes crowd so not at all surprising.
