The thing holding me back from getting Coach's trail bag is the shape...rather than the roundish ellipse Trail bag shape, I really want a boxy one like MCM's vanity. Designers tend to all copy each other, so I'm not surprised. The LV Nice one is the perfect proportion for me

Oh, it's true that designers copy from each other, but sometimes I think contemporary brands get unnecessary flack. In this case, Coach made that specific vanity shape + strap accessible to consumers before LV. I'm sure Coach got the vanity + strap idea from someone else though.
I like vanity cases in general, so at first I wanted the nice/strap from the sneak peeks. When I saw that giant egg though, nevermind! I really hope they make the egg available to consumers. It is such a weird bag.

Does anyone know when CAs would start seeing these pieces in the look book? My CA told me the reverse monogram vanity bag isn’t going to be released for commercial sale because it wasn’t showing up on their end, but everything they showed me are pieces from the fall and winter collection.
Since runway pieces for SS 2019 weren’t available until April of this year, I don’t think the CAs would see it in the look book for another few months.

I asked a CA about the Valisette BB and he kept trying to show me the Mini Luggage and even ordered one for me thinking it was the BB for 3 months. Since the show just happened I wouldn’t expect my store to get good info until the new year. I’m probably going to end up getting this bag online since the CA’s at my store seem like they don’t care about trying to help me with getting something from new collections.
Ugh it’s frustrating when I can get more info from TPF than my CA lol. I am hesitant to prepay (if the item even gets produced) since it’s never a guarantee, but I want my CA to get the sale. Oh well, I’ll have to wait a few months for more info.
