There was a price increase? I don't think the fact that they did not have candy is a big deal. I would be more upset at the price increase despite the awful quality of the canvas lately.

Yup I was surprised with the price increase as well. I did a product request for the Mono PF on Oct. 5th for $870 plus tax through CS and yesterday they actually did a price adjustment so I paid the same price when I pre-ordered it.:smile1:

Yeah I think they're upping the prices of new releases. The Duomo that just released was originally $1,650 in the lookbook but it released at $1,750 which IMO is too much for what it is.

At least that one was only $100 price difference. The new Platine color with studs on Montaigne MM in lookbook was the same price as the other emp. colors of $3250, but released it is $4050! My SA had said "don't ever believe the prices listed in this book because they change them so quickly". Unless someone very generous gifts me this new bag:faint: I believe I will admire everyone else's. It wasn't love at first sight for me like others are saying.

I purchased the Rock N Roll Roses stole on Friday and my SA said it had just increased in price that day, but since she'd been holding it for me I could have the pre increase price. I asked her if there had been an increase on everything and she said just the stole, the Felicie GM bags and a couple GO-14s.

Holy cow, really?! That's a huge difference! I think it's pretty but I honestly don't think it's that much more amazing to warrant that huge of a difference over the regular Montaigne empreinte. I definitely wouldn't expect it to be the same price though.

Just so you ladies know! What happens is the prices in the look book are estimated prices. My SA who is the manager says they have requested no prices be listed in the look book for the new year. All pricing right now will be 100 to 200 more than first quoted. No actual price increase has happen so don't start to panic. This is strictly new releases.
