Did the segur go up to $1990 from $1900? I am pretty sure the price was $1900, but now it's showing a price of $1990? Or am I mistaken?
Hmmmm...I really don't know! Do you think they're doing subtle increases and not all bags went up? I read somewhere that the Adele went up due to popular demand. Hopefully nothing else did.
Thanks for the info. After I read your post, I was almost certain that I saw the segur listed for $1900~now it is $1990. They could be doing subtle increases. I remember in 2009 they actually decreased some of the prices. Of course, the speedy was one of the bags that decreased and it was about a month after I purchased it (just my luck). Fingers crossed that these few changes are the end of it
I cannot believe the price increase. I remember thinking LV's were so expensive when I first got my bag in 2008 but now I wish I bought a couple of bags then since they were so much inexpensive. I want to get a Delightful PM and also a Speedy B. I honestly can afford to get only one bag right now but I am seriously considering getting both. Lol!
Last time the US had an increase they were included so I ordered one quickly a day before.
hey girl, just wondering if you have heard any whispering of a price increase yet. in the past have you always known before hand? i am waiting to buy soon, but not quite NOW (birthdays, halloween, thanksgiving, christmas all coming soon.. all those pricey .
BUT if there will be a price increase next month, i will just have to make it happen sooner.
I'm in the same boat. But does anyone know how much the increase has been the last times? Is it like 10-12% or is it more?
I text my SA yesterday and he said no, he hasn't heard anything. He also told me earlier this year that LV would never do it close to x-mas. They don't want that reputation. I think if we make to early November we are good. Usually they know 2 weeks in advance so actually I think we might have made it. I hope. I'm in touch with my SA all week and we text each other regularly along with a regional manager who travels to many LV locations. Neither have heard anything for the US so I really think we might be ok. In the past decade, The increases have been usually in March and/or October if they happened. I'll post as soon as I find out anything bad. Gosh, I hope not! Have a great day!
The percentages can be different with items. Some items got hit more. I think the Eva clutch went up a little more than $100.00. LV shoes and fine jewelry have separate increases at a different time.
My SA told me also that they know 2 weeks in advance but we do not text so please let us know as soon as you hear of a price increase. I am getting a bag January next year but if there is a price increase then I will get it right away. Lol.
